BARN CATS!
Yes, we do have barn cats. (This is based on availability.) All of our barn cats are spayed/neutered and vaccinated. Some may be friendlier than others but they are good mousers! The adoption fee for a barn cat is $50 each. Discounts apply if you adopt more than one! Our barn cats are designated by the letters BC before their names!
Important information
The young adult/adult kitties have had all of their vaccinations, de-wormed, flea treated and spayed/neutered. They need nothing except yearly health checks and lots of love! The kittens (under 5 months of age) will not be eligible for spay/neuter until they are 4 pounds and 5 months of age. We will set that up for you at one of our preferred clinics when the proper time comes. We do guarantee the health of each cat/kitten for a 10 day period.
Regarding FIV/FeLV combo testing: Per advice of our veterinary clinics, kittens under 6 months of age should not be tested, as they may test positive for FeLV or FIV even though they are rarely infected. The antibodies of these retroviruses can be passed from infected mothers through nursing and will pass through the kitten in time. Kittens should only be tested if they are above 6 months of age.
You must be 19 or older to adopt. Parental or guardian consent and signature is required to sign a contract at age 18.
Kittens must be 10 weeks old to adopt individually. You can adopt kittens at 8 weeks if you adopt in pairs. Unfortunately, we cannot hold a cat or kitten longer than 48 hours with full payment. We reserve the right to approve or deny any adoption application at any time based on the information acquired during the adoption process.

We are foster based and have foster homes all over Alabama. For this reason it is very difficult to set up a “meet and greet” with a kitten in another area. We do have adoption events in each area if you just want to meet the kitties!
